My name is Taylor Schweizer and I started working at Evergreen in 2023. I have taught first and second grade. Outside of teaching, I love traveling and spending time with my family!
Mrs. Steinke - First Grade Teacher
My name is Angelica Steinke and I just love teaching first grade. I have taught 5th and 3rd grade as well, but first grade is the sweet spot for me! In my free time, I love to run, go shopping in downtown Geneva, and go to Disney World with my family! Evergreen is my second home and I'm proud to be an Eagle!
Welcome to First Grade at Evergreen Elementary School!
We look forward to working with you and your child on their journey through first grade. Remember, this is a time of excitement and unbelievable growth for each and every student. Our goal as classroom teachers is to work collaboratively with students and families in order to meet the academic and social needs of all children.
Students will enjoy a trip to Brookfield Zoo, attending a play, Spidy Friday Fun, and a Helmet Assembly. First grade students will also participate in an evening musical production.
