Welcome to Benjamin 25!

I am thrilled that you are embarking on your child’s/children’s educational adventure with us in our amazing district. Benjamin 25 is indeed a very special place and I am grateful that you have chosen to live in our district and become a part of the Benjamin 25 community.

A special welcome to all of our families who are new to our district. We are so thrilled that you have chosen to join us!! Our district is focused on always making decisions that are in the best interests of our students. I certainly hope that you will find this to be true as you begin your journey in Benjamin 25.

We have had a very exciting summer as we have replaced all HVAC systems in both buildings and completed our reroofing of both buildings as well. We also renovated 4 of our oldest classrooms and completed asbestos abatement in those same four classrooms. I am proud to state that all of our buildings are free of asbestos containing material.

This work marks the completion of the first year of our Capital Improvement Plan. We have more work planned for the future including a new 6 classroom addition at Evergreen Elementary School on which we will break ground in November of this year with a planned opening for the start of the 2025-2026 school year. We also have classroom refreshers planned in both buildings during the summers of 2025 and 2026 as we look to complete the next two phases of the Capital Plan.

Financially, our District is in fantastic shape and we are using existing fund balances and a reissue of bonds planned for the spring of 2025 to fund the planned work. All of this is being done without raising the tax rate on our residents. Our focus is to bring our learning spaces into the 21st century as we prepare tomorrow’s leaders for their roles in society.
